Something Tells Me You Went To Catholic School by Anthony Buccino won Honorable Mention in the 2010 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards sponsored by the Poetry Center at Passaic Community College. The poem will be published in the Paterson Literary Review issue #40.
The Paterson Literary Review is published by the PCCC Poetry Center.
Buccino will read his poem at the Allen Ginsberg Winners' Poetry Reading and Award Ceremony at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at the Hamilton Club, 32 Church St., Paterson, N.J.

CATHOLIC SCHOOL SURVIVORS met after I read my poem Something Tells Me
You Went To Catholic School at Ginsberg awards in Paterson.
We held our own service later, dipping chocolate chip cookies in herbal tea, commenting about how the church has changed.
Sorry I missed this reading. Ginsberg was a hero in his day and will be remembered as one of the great poets of the beat generation. I'm sure you are honored and I am not worthy.
