Summer Anthony's World Update

Anthony Buccino to Lead 'Walk & Talk' in Nutley Parks
NUTLEY, N.J. -- Leaving his keyboard and camera for a brisk morning walk, local author Anthony Buccino will lead the Walk & Talk through Nutley parks on Sunday, 8:15 a.m., Aug. 12, 2018.

Enjoy a refreshing three-mile roundtrip walk from the pre-opening Nutley Farmers Market, Municipal Parking Lot 9 (537 Franklin Avenue). Parking is available in Lot 7 and Lot 9 (enter behind Bella Luce), through Nutley parks along the Third River to Kingsland Park and back. The walk is free. Books will be available for autographs and purchase following the walk.

Nutley, N.J. Author
Why does a guy who grew up in Belleville, and wrote Greetings From Belleville NJ, lead a historical tour of the neighboring town? It went so well last year, they asked him back. History hasn’t changed much in a year, but not everyone in town got to hear when Anthony discussed Nutley history, the Nutley Sons Honor Roll, and growing up near these parks in the 1960s. Anyway, how can he say no to his adopted hometown?

Did you know Buccino created and has maintained web sites for Nutley Historical Society and the Kingsland Manor for more than a dozen years? That helped him research his Walk & Talk history.

Book Projects
Anthony Buccino is in the final edits for Nutley Notables - The Men and Women Who Made a Memorable Impact on Our Hometown, Nutley, New Jersey, Volume Two, the follow up to volume one published in 2014. This year, during Women’s History Month, Buccino posted online profiles of more than 30 women who made a difference in Nutley. Those women and many, many more are featured in volume two.

Buccino is completing research on his next local history book, Notorious Nutley Notables – Murder, Major Crime, and the Loss of Innocents. True tales of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and bank robberies from a safe, peaceful New Jersey town

NEW YORK CITY SNAPSHOTS – In Plain View - Buccino’s third photography collection focuses on the 15 year period from 1999 to 2014. The 112-page book includes more than 160 color snapshots of the Big Apple. Don’t forget, Buccino’s two other photo collections NUTLEY SNAPSHOTS In Plain View  and Jersey City Snapshots are also available on Amazon.
