Anthony’s World – July 2020

NEW IN PRINT

New Orleans In Plain View by Anthony Buccino
Anthony Buccino has published his fourth photograph collection, NEW ORLEANS IN PLAIN VIEW. The print edition is available on Amazon. We were all set to spend about two weeks in the Big Easy and then everything closed.

This photo book is dedicated to the many wonderful people we have met, beautiful places we have visited and delicious meals we have savored in our very favorite city, New Orleans. From our first visit to NOLA 35 years ago, we found something which meant so much to us, it became the only place we wanted to be other than home… Photos include streetcars, Jackson Square, streetscapes, French Market, local signs, Mississippi River, Mardi Gras World, the National World War 2 Museum, and the New Orleans skyline.

If you’ve been to NOLA and want to see if we caught your favorite place, or if you’ve always wanted to visit, check out this great new book.

Pirates Online

Cherry Blossom Press has removed all but three Anthony Buccino titles from #Amazon’s #Kindle distribution. Several online companies say they offer downloads of our titles. The companies do not have rights to distribute copies in any format. These unauthorized, pirated, copies of ebook titles allegedly available from less than scrupulous distributors may be trolls who use these books as clickbait. While the sites may be legitimate ebook resellers (probably scammers), they are not and were never authorized to resell Cherry Blossom Press titles.

Sixteen Inches on Center, One Morning in Jersey City, and Martha Stewart Doesn’t Live Here Anymore & Other Essays continue to be available on Kindle eBooks. If you already own other titles in your Kindle library, they should not be affected by this distribution change.

Book Projects

Nutley Notables Volume Two is Buccino’s second book in the Nutley Notables series. This edition includes more than 110 profiles including more than sixty women who made a memorable impact on Nutley through their gumption or philanthropy, or both. These biographies span the centuries from when Nutley was called Franklin to today.

Buccino continues ongoing research on his next local history book, Notorious Nutley Notables – Murder, Major Crime, and the Loss of Innocents. True tales of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and bank robberies from a safe, peaceful New Jersey town
